Social Protection of Refugees and Asylum Seekers

As part of social assistance, R2P provides consultations on:

  • access to medical, educational, and social services;
  • employment of refugees and asylum seekers in Ukraine;
  • starting their own business, self-development, and self-education.

The Foundation also supports the development of refugee communities. To do this, employees:

  • hold group meetings and consultations with refugee communities with the involvement of specialists;
  • carry out mapping of refugee communities;
  • assist in the development and implementation of initiatives;
  • organise self-development courses.

At the end of 2023, Right to Protection mapped refugee communities in Ukraine. We included associations that are not necessarily led by refugees and asylum seekers but that involve these categories of people and offer support to them, as well as to others with similar territorial origins or circumstances.

We are currently actively cooperating with these organisations and have created an interactive map where you can easily find all the refugee and asylum-seeking communities in Ukraine:
