Assistance to Refugees and Asylum Seekers

R2P protects the rights of refugees (foreigners and stateless persons granted international protection in Ukraine), persons granted complementary protection, and those seeking international protection (asylum seekers) in Ukraine. The Foundation's team works with those who have remained in Ukraine and those forced to leave it.

Due to the full-scale invasion, our experts pay special attention to identifying and meeting the basic needs of refugees, access of asylum seekers to the international protection procedure in Ukraine, and respect for the right to liberty and security of persons, as well as freedom of movement.

R2P:

  • provides legal and social counselling;
  • supports in court;
  • monitors collective centres for foreigners and stateless persons;
  • supports the development of refugee communities;
  • investigates the situation of beneficiaries;
  • advocates for their rights.
