About Us

The Right to Protection Charitable Foundation is one of the leaders of the human rights movement in Ukraine, with a strong position in the field of protection of the rights of IDPs, refugees, asylum seekers, and stateless persons. The Foundation implements programmes to provide legal, psychological, and in-kind support to IDPs and the war-affected population, as well as social assistance and monitoring of the protection of rights.

In 2023, realising how many Ukrainians found themselves abroad due to the war, an important step was opening the Foundation's representative office in Poland — Right to Protection Poland — to support citizens forced to move and found refuge here.

With the support of HIAS, an office was opened in Warsaw, where experts provide psychological and legal assistance and protect the rights of Ukrainians temporarily residing in Poland.
