Social Protection and Integration of Refugees and Asylum Seekers
Social assistance to refugees and asylum seekers is free in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. In particular, R2P's employees consult on:
- access to medical, educational and social services;
- employment of refugees and asylum seekers in Ukraine;
- starting a business, self-development, and self-education.
Our experts support the development of refugee communities in Kyiv and Kyiv region, Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, and Lviv region.
R2P's employees:
- hold group meetings and consultations with refugee communities with the involvement of specialists;
- map refugee communities;
- assist in the development and implementation of initiatives;
- organise self-development courses.

At the end of 2023, Right to Protection mapped refugee communities in Ukraine. We included associations that are not necessarily led by refugees and asylum seekers but that involve these categories of people and offer support to them, as well as to others with similar territorial origins or circumstances.
