Right to Protection Poland provides the following free legal aid:

  • applying for temporary protection in Poland and the procedure of Ukrainians' stay here;

  • appealing against refusals to grant temporary protection in Poland;

  • appealing against decisions on social benefits and asylum seekers' access to fundamental rights;

  • assistance in preparing general documents for Polish state authorities;

  • advising on the rules of crossing the state border during martial law;

  • legal aspects of employment and non-payment of wages;

  • starting your own business;

  • renting a house and returning the rent, etc.

Types of aid on immigration issues:

  • group counselling on legal issues;

  • individual counselling on legal issues;

  • assistance in drafting documents of a non-procedural nature (appeals, inquiries, complaints) to ensure that the beneficiary can represent themself.

The Legal Advisor 2.0 for Ukrainians in Poland chatbot is a service that provides free legal assistance 24/7 for Ukrainians in Poland and contains the knowledge base necessary to support those who were forced to move due to the war and found refuge here. With the help of the chatbot, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about legalisation and paperwork, social benefits, educational opportunities, medical services, employment and business in Poland, finding accommodation and living, travelling between Poland and Ukraine, and crossing the border.

The chatbot also contains valuable and important contacts of Polish institutions, agencies and organisations, including emergency assistance in various life situations. In addition, you can use the chatbot to contact the lawyers of Right to Protection Poland with additional questions. Important: the Foundation's specialists are available from 10:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

The chatbot is available on Telegram and Facebook. You do not need to download anything else to your phone or computer; there is no pre-registration, questionnaire or "subscriptions".
