Right to Protection Poland carries out advocacy activities aimed at ensuring:
Right to Protection Poland communicates with Polish public authorities, such as the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the State Social Welfare Institutions, the State Migration Service, the State Border Guard Service and other organisations regarding the observance of the rights of temporary protection beneficiaries.
Through cooperation with other non-governmental organisations, the Foundation's staff monitors the needs of Ukrainians in Poland and outlines them to the Ukrainian government through joint work with the advocacy department in Ukraine, building bridges between the Polish and Ukrainian authorities.
To improve the situation of Ukrainians eligible for temporary protection in Poland after 24 February 2022, the Foundation cooperates with the authorities of EU member states, the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) and the UNHCR.
Right to Protection Poland also uses international advocacy tools to increase the issues’s visibility and to influence the Polish state authorities more effectively. It includes communication with the Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe, the UN, and EU institutions.
In addition, Right to Protection Poland cooperates with other Polish and foreign NGOs and international organisations in the field of migration.
