Right to Protection Charitable Fund is a leading organisation in the sector, protecting the war-affected population, veterans, refugees, and stateless persons, and striving for the recovery and integration of those we assist. Our team defends people’s rights and works to ensure that laws and decisions in Ukraine and around the world become fairer. We are actively developing a network of partners to provide localised support to those in need.

We combine direct support for people with systemic change. Our experts work alongside people affected by war, forced displacement, and statelessness, whilst also influencing government decisions and policies. This approach enables us not only to respond to the consequences of crises but also to address their root causes and implement sustainable solutions to support the recovery of both individuals and hromadas.
We provide comprehensive support through a One-Stop Shop approach, helping people to access the protection, services, and opportunities they need for recovery and integration.
Our experience of working with millions of people helps us to identify systemic issues and propose solutions at the national level. Thanks to the Fund’s advocacy work, compensation mechanisms for destroyed and damaged housing have been improved, barriers to access to social protection for IDPs and people from temporarily occupied territories have been removed, and the State Register of Property Damaged and Destroyed has been established.
With R2P’s involvement, a procedure for recognising stateless persons was introduced in Ukraine, and Ukrainian driving licences were recognised in European Union countries.
