Right to Protection Held Second Workshop for Ukrainian Judges

On 2 August, Right to Protection and the National School of Judges of Ukraine, together with the UN Refugee Agency, held the second workshop for Ukrainian judges in Kyiv, The Practice of the Courts of the European Union Member States and the EU Court of Justice in the Field of International Protection: Useful Experience for Ukraine. The first such workshop was held on 26 July.

The seminar discussed the practice of the courts of the European Union member states and the EU Court of Justice in the field of international protection to familiarise oneself with the practice of European courts and to study the experience that may be useful for Ukraine in the context of European integration processes. The topics of these workshops were and are highly relevant and essential in the context of Ukraine's aspirations for European integration, as the correct application of EU law is becoming increasingly important in the work of national courts.
