Social Assistance to Veterans and Their Families

Social workers provide social assistance (case management), assess individual needs, plan, organise and coordinate the provision of social services, and help people solve several issues that concern them.

Social workers provide the following services:

  • informing and consulting;
  • representation of interests (negotiations in state institutions on behalf of the recipient of social services; assistance in obtaining or restoring documents, etc.;
  • physical support for people with limited mobility;
  • social adaptation (aid to people in difficult life circumstances to return to an active social life);
  • social prevention (a set of actions aimed at preventing, limiting and stopping negative social phenomena and their consequences);
  • home care for veterans and their families.
