Capacity Building for Local Organisations

The Capacity Building for Local Organisations programme aims to develop civil society actors' ability and effectiveness and promote sustainable, mutually reinforcing contacts and partnerships between them.

Civil society organisations (CSOs) are essential actors that significantly complement the state's function in meeting citizens' social, humanitarian, educational, and other needs. Therefore, they should develop and become professional, systematic, and accountable in their work.

The programme focuses on working with CSOs covering the same sectors as R2P.

The programme's target audience is registered CSOs (public organisations, charitable foundations, associations, etc.).

To assist in leadership development and dissemination of lessons learned, the Fund offers the following services:

  • assessment of the organisational capacity of CSOs;

  • development of organisational development plans;

  • mentoring support;

  • professional consultations;

  • grant support;

  • development of training and information materials;

  • advising on improving the quality of services (legal, psychological, social, humanitarian, and cash assistance, etc.).
