Who Can Receive Cash Assistance?

Right to Protection is a partner of UNHCR in collecting data on cash assistance.

The assistance is provided for persons who, within the last 30 days before the date of application:

  • suffered from shelling, and their permanent housing was damaged;
  • whose place of residence became uninhabitable due to warfare;
  • the household remains in its usual place of residence but is unable to cope with the increased costs and potential loss of income due to a war-related event;
  • evacuated from hromadas where a mandatory evacuation has been declared;
  • lost a close family member;
  • a household member was hospitalised or requires treatment due to damage caused by warfare;
    and
  • was included in the verified lists of evacuees or victims provided to the Fund by local authorities.

Amount of Cash Assistance

The amount of assistance is based on the amount of the minimum consumer basket, which is UAH 3,600 per person and covers a three-month period.

This means that the total amount for each family member is UAH 10,800.

NOTE! We do not need your CVV code (a three-digit code on a bank card). The Fund's employees should not ask for it.

All information you provide during the registration process is confidential and will be entered into the UNHCR database. By submitting your personal data, you consent to its transfer to the financial service provider to receive cash assistance.
