"We couldn't even bury him..."
These words from Liliia from Kupianskyi raion break your heart. Her family lost everything — their home, loved ones, and health. During the shelling of Kolisnykivka village, a missile hit their house. Liliia's husband, who was inside, died. His body is still under the rubble…
After that, the woman, her son, and her granddaughter were forced to evacuate. They are now living in temporary accommodation in Kharkivska oblast.
Liliia is 56 years old. She has severe diabetes, has undergone toe amputation as a result of shelling, and requires constant treatment. Her son Oleksandr has a disability and also needs care. And then there is Oleksandra, a 15-year-old granddaughter whom Liliia has been raising since childhood. The girl lost her home and years of a carefree childhood.
We did not leave this family alone with trouble.
Liliia could not hold back her tears — she said that for the first time in a long time, she felt that she was not alone.
