Training on the topic "Investigation of serious complaints" was held in Kyiv

May 3, 2024

A three-day training on the topic "Investigation of serious complaints" was conducted for our colleagues by R2P partners – GOAL international organization supported by Irish Aid.

GOAL's technical experts on investigations have developed an intense training program covering all the details of case management. Each stage of this complex process was explained with precise examples, real cases and practical advice from experienced trainers.

Therefore, our colleagues gained valuable knowledge and obtained relevant skills on a number of topics:

  • purpose and principles of investigation;

  • the initial wrongdoing report and the investigation plan;

  • documentation and evidence;

  • conducting interviews;

  • final wrongdoing report and recommendations;

  • safeguarding investigations.

The training provided a unique opportunity to significantly increase the level of awareness of R2P specialists on how to work with real complaints of a serious nature – this experience will help in determining the stages, developing procedures and reporting templates that will be used in the process of considering such complaints, etc.

R2P team sincerely thanks GOAL for the professional organization of the event, and the trainers – for the intensive, interesting training and warm working atmosphere!

By the way, our speakers visited the capital of Ukraine for the first time ever, having arrived from Ireland, and were extremely satisfied with spring Kyiv. We look forward to your upcoming visits again!

We are delighted to welcome our partner GOAL to Kyiv, who are here as part of the IrishAid funded Project “Building Bricks for Humanitarian Excellence” to provide training to our team on safeguarding and on how to handle complaints.
