PULSE is a First National Consortium of eight organisations with recognised expertise in their respective fields, while preserving their unique humanitarian experience.
The full-scale war has shown that no single organisation can meet all the humanitarian needs of the population on its own. Cooperation is needed to make aid even more effective. This is how the PULSE Consortium came into being.
The advantage of PULSE is its comprehensive referral system. When a person contacts one organisation, they receive assistance from other partners as needed. Everything is coordinated, without unnecessary steps or lost information.
PULSE plans for the next three years include:
All these activities are provided through the SHARP element, a three-year, locally led partnership that enables response to the most pressing humanitarian needs in Ukraine and is a part of the UK-Ukraine 100-Year Partnership to support Ukraine’s inclusive and sustainable recovery.
PULSE is a massive breakthrough in localising humanitarian response in Ukraine. The leadership of each of the eight organisations in the humanitarian sector is effective thanks to their professionalism and deep understanding of the local context and people’s needs.
We are grateful to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) for recognising the value of Ukrainian leadership and expertise in the field of humanitarian response!
We are PULSE. The pulse of help. The pulse of change. The pulse of cooperation.
This project was funded with UK aid from the UK Government and is implemented within the National PULSE Consortium, coordinated by Right to Protection. UK Government support to this project in Ukraine is provided through the SHARP element of its Humanitarian Assistance, Recovery and Protection Programme.
