This year's conference is a triumph for the Ukrainian civil society sector. It was attended by about 500 participants, including representatives of Ukrainian and international charitable and civil society organisations, government agencies, businesses, and the UN. I was honoured to speak on a panel dedicated to funding Ukrainian NGOs, along with representatives of partners, Ukrainian businesses, and colleagues from local NGOs. We talked about the importance of partnership and cooperation.
Valeriia Sekisova, Head of the Economic Resilience & Early Recovery programme, and Yuliia Novobranets, Director of Fundraising and Partnerships of R2P, attended the conference.
The one-day conference highlighted Ukrainian and international perspectives on the current realities of humanitarian assistance and explored ways to strengthen Ukrainian humanitarian actors and their leadership in the overall aid system.
