Right to Protection, with the Support of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund (UHF), Started the Right to Business: From Idea to Profit Training Programme

Throughout February, participants from Kharkivska, Sumska, Chernihivska, Kyivska, and Zhytomyrska oblasts have attended online training sessions on such topics:
- How to create a successful business idea?
- How to attract funding for your enterprise?
The best of them will then participate in an offline course consisting of 4 workshops, presentations of business projects, and consultations with trainers on their business ideas.
Right to Business: From Idea to Profit is a training programme for motivated small business owners whose enterprise has been affected by the full-scale invasion, those who are just looking to start their own business, or fall under one of the vulnerability criteria:
- internally displaced persons;
- persons with disabilities;
- men/women raising children on their own;
- ATO/war veterans who are no longer in the military.
The training programme aims to provide knowledge and help strengthen entrepreneurial skills, from finding a business idea, establishing management and marketing to generating the first income. The best participants will receive a grant of $3,000 or more to develop their own business!

Restoring the economic capacity of Ukrainians is currently one of the critical tasks, the implementation of which will have an impact on reducing potential migration and creating incentives for the return of Ukrainians. Domestically, it is an effective tool for the integration of IDPs into the society of host hromadas and the reintegration of returnees and veterans. It concerns not only the ability to provide for oneself and one's family but also self-esteem, capacity, and building social ties.
This course will help:
- gain knowledge, enabling the participants to run a business:
- learn how to start a company.
- get individual expert advice for the enterprise.
- learn how to manage finances effectively.
- find potential partners among the training participants.
The Right to Business: From Idea to Profit training programme is implemented by Right to Protection within the framework of the Strength: Shelter, Protection, and Livelihoods for People Who Returned Home project, implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Foundation (UHF).
