The primary objective of the study was to "bring out of the shadows" all people in Ukraine who, for one reason or another, do not have citizenship or any other legal status. The work we have done has made it possible to understand the depth and scope of the problems of such people in Ukraine in various spheres of life. As a result, we have received important information about the real situation of stateless persons in Ukraine, which will be a strong argument in the fight for their rights.

In addition, access to medical care for undocumented and stateless persons was discussed during the event. The issue of respecting the rights of such people during evacuation under martial law was also emphasised.

At the end of the event, the participants discussed recommendations for public authorities on access to employment, social services, humanitarian aid, and healthcare for stateless and undocumented persons.
