Invitation to the Right to Business Educational Programme in Odesa

December 26, 2024

Right to Protection announces the launch of the next cycle of the Right to Business educational programme for micro-entrepreneurs and those dreaming of starting their own business. This course is your opportunity to gain knowledge, practical skills, and support for implementing business ideas.

Why Join?

The Right to Business aimsto enhance the economic capacity of the war-affected population of Ukraine by supporting entrepreneurship through the improvement of business skills for beginner entrepreneurs.

Previous participants of the course have already achieved significant results:

  • obtaining state and international grants;
  • invitations to international educational programmes;
  • successful start of their businesses through implementing business plans developed during the course.

An example is Nataliia Shramko from Odesa. Seven years ago, together with three other mothers of children with autism spectrum disorders, she created a space for learning and development for their kids. Over time, this idea grew into a powerful, inclusive workshop called Everyone Matters, which now helps not only children but also adults with special educational needs.

Even the war could not stop the team: their activities were resumed just a month after the full-scale invasion began. After completing the Right to Business educational course, Nataliia expanded the project scope significantly.

Nataliia Shramko

"I learned a lot of new things, especially enjoying the module on finances, which allowed me to structure my knowledge. Plus, many aspects we had not previously paid attention to were clarified. For instance, we used to calculate product prices incorrectly, but after the course, we learned how to do it properly. I learned how to account for workloads, calculate taxes, understand my business model, and ways to develop the workshop. During the course, I met many talented people; we constantly shared experiences, and I still keep in touch with some, supporting each other's projects".

The knowledge gained during the course enabled her to secure an international grant of 1,700,000 UAH.

These funds were used to equip new spaces, purchase modern equipment, and create more jobs for people with disabilities. In the near future, Nataliia plans to launch woodworking, candle-making, and printing workshops to provide her students with even more opportunities for development and income!
