R2P Launches Training Course for Stateless Persons

October 9, 2023

R2P launches a new training course to support stateless persons in Kyiv and Kyivska oblast. Participants will learn more about their rights and how to exercise them, as many employees of official structures and state institutions still need to know who IDPs are and their status.

During the course, participants will also develop skills that will be useful in any sphere of life, and our team will support them in this. The Basic Social, Legal and Digital Literacy Course for Stateless Persons in Kyivska Oblast will start in November.

Liudmyla Bovan, Project Manager at R2P

We are happy to be launching the project. It is the first time such an initiative has been implemented in Ukraine. This course is a chance for stateless persons to learn the basics of legal and digital literacy and develop the communication skills necessary for self-fulfilment. This project is an opportunity to help stateless people improve their lives.

The course also includes sessions with a psychologist, where participants will receive valuable advice on overcoming stress and adapting to new living conditions.

The project is implemented with the support of the U.S. Embassy Julia Taft Fund.
