Our team received 77 applications from the course participants. Of these, 44 business projects were selected and received over UAH 5.6 million in funding.

Ten entrepreneurs each from Kyivska and Chernihivska oblasts and eight each from Zhytomyrska, Sumska, and Kharkivska oblasts received grants. The winners include a children's development centre, a cosmetics store, accounting services, a confectionery, a goat eco-farm, cleaning services, fuel briquettes, jewellery, a printing centre, etc.

The grants will mainly be used to purchase equipment. The project implementation period is three months, including buying the necessary equipment, materials, and services and launching the business.

Selection process:

  • Participants submitted an application form describing their business project according to the CANVAS model and a financial model indicating the break-even point.
  • The documents were evaluated by a competition committee consisting of trainers, specialists from R2P and financiers.
  • The participants presented their business projects at the event, where they were evaluated by the regional manager, the project's grant manager, and invited experts.

Evaluation criteria:

  • definition of the target audience;
  • clarity of the product/service;
  • description of the necessary resources and sales channels;
  • social impact;
